host the first annual DLA-Wide Business Alliance Conference. This
conference is scheduled to take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in
Columbus, OH, September 3-5, 1997. WHAT: STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP A DLA

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS AND SCHEDULE : The first day offers tutorials by
the Electronic Commerce Resource Centers. The second day and a half
will consist of workshops about innovative business programs conducted
by DLA experts. Representatives from each of the DLA centers will be
staffing a Problem Resolution Center. Contractors interested in doing
business with the Federal Government can obtain assistance and register
in the Centralized Contractor Registration database. There will also be
a Promotional Area with exhibits and displays by DLA, other DoD

Policy The 1ST Annual Business Alliance Awards Dinner will be held the
evening of Sept. 4, 1997. Keynote speaker to be determined. The
conference will be good opportunity to learn about current initiatives
and changes taking place within the Defense Logistics Agency. It will
also be an excellent opportunity for networking with senior DLA
executives and acquisition experts, other Government Agency
representatives and private industry contractors. CONFERENCE FEES:
Early Bird Registration (Before Aug 8, 1997) -- $225 Registration Fee
(After Aug 8, 1997) -- $250 *Registration fees provide access to all
events including tickets for the reception, luncheon and awards
banquet. Additional Business Alliance Awards Banquet are available for
$50 each PROMOTIONAL AREA EXHIBIT FEES: Early Bird Exhibit Fee (Before
Aug 8, 1997) -- $1000 Exhibit Fee (After Aug 8, 1997) -- $1100 *Exhibit
Fee covers a 6'x8' booth, 1 table and 2 chairs, and 2 conference
