Furnish all labor, supervision, material and equipment to provide custodial services at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. Services will be provided at the Headquarters in Bethesda, MD and at the Annapolis Detachment in Annapolis, MD. Performance will begin on or about 16 November 1997, and will continue for one year, and include options to continue the contract for an additional four consecutive years. The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent set-aside for certified 8(a) firms. All requests for the solicitation should include the following documentation: (1) Written certification/verification of current participation in the 8(a) Program; and (2) written certification/verification of compliance with 8(a) competitive mix requirements, verified by the appropriate Assistant Director for Minority Enterprise Development of the cognizant district offices. The estimated date for availability of the solicitation is 18 August 1997, with bid opening on or about 30 days thereafter. All responsive 8(a) sources will be considered by the agency.
