The work for this project occurs within an existing building (approximately 358,123 square feet) which is occupied and will continue to be occupied during the course of construction. Estimated cost is $2,000,000 to $2,500,000. Construction completion time is 68 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Evaluation criteria to be used in determining the award are: Experience-minimum of five (5) years with roofing projects of similar size and scope, client references for similar work, company orgainization and staffing for this project (with experience of key personnel), financial capability, ability to meet project days to complete and price. Successful offeror will be required to submit Performance and PaymentBonds at the time of award. A 20% Proposal Guarantee Bond will be required with submittal. A preproposal conference is scheduled for Friday, July 25, 1997 at 9:00 AM in the first floor lobby at USPS Bulk Mail Center, 7555 E. 56th Ave., Denver, CO.
