The work includes repairs to structural steel members and connections; sandblasting and painting of approximately 76 feet high steel tower; modification to ladder; proper disposal of lead contaminated sand; repair and renovation of control room at the top of steel tower includes removal of windows, door, roll roofing from wooden observation deck and shingles from control room roof, window air conditioning unit, entire electrical wiring and fixtures, asbestos containing material and installation of new interior and exterior finishes, including new metal roofing and wooden deck covering, new electrical wiring and fixtures, new heat pump, new combination toilet/lavatory, water booster pump and related equipment, water and sanitary sewer connections and incidental related work. The magnitude of the project ranges between $100,000 and $250,000. Period of performance is 120 calendar days.
