Z -- ROOF REHABILITATION AND SHEET METAL REPAIR SOL 1443IB1770-97-008 DUE 090597 POC Marvin Newman 718 338 3638 The contract resulting from this solicitation shall consist of but not limited to the following major items: 1. the removal and replacement of approximatelu 12,600 SF of 4 ply modified bituminous roofing, 2. the removal of bituminous mastic at the control tower, 3. the fabrication and installation of new aluminum cladding on the control tower, 4. the removal and replacement of the copper gutter of the tower, 5. the fabrication and installation of new lead coated copper cladding, 6. the rehabilitation, fabrication and installation of ornamental metal railling, 7. the removal and replacement of skylights, 8. selected masonry repairs, 9. the rehabilitation of existing roof features and 10. finish rehabilitation of various metals. The work will take place at the Ryan Vistor Center, a historic structure, at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, New York. This solictiation is open to both large and small business. The price range for this work is between $250,000 and $500,000. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing. There will be a $100 charge for the plans and specifications, payable through a caisher's check or money order to "The National Park Service." No personal checks will be accepted. (0199)
