The overall scope of work is to remove the fireproofing insulation on the ceilings in two rooms of Building 380, which contain asbestos and the asbestos debris below the floor, in the equipment, above the ceiling, and in the ductwork. The mechanical portion of the work will be to remove the existing HVAC systems and replace with new. Project also includes replacing of lights in work areas. Contractor shall possess a State of Florida Asbestos Abatement license to perform asbestos abatement and shall submit this license when requested by the contracting officer before contract award. Estimated dollar range is between $1 Million and $5 Million. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
