FISC San Diego has a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within sixteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. FISC San Diego intends to negotiate with Krautkramer Branston, Inc. for the following requirements: (1) Eddy Current Instrument, phase 2200 or equal with the minimum critical features as follows: weight 6.5 lbs. or less, electroluminescent display, conductivity and coating thickness measurement, splash proof keypad, active data recording, dual frequency, compatible with hocking rotating drives, battery charger and ac adapter, manufacture shall install any hardware or software upgrades to eddy current instrument at no cost to the government for one year from date of purchase; (2) Soft Shell Carrying case, P/N 022-506-053 or equal; (3) Standard Drive Unit, P/N 072-200-02 or equal; (4) Mini-Drive Unit, P/N 072-200-001 or equal; (5) Drive Unit Cable P/N 078-140-032 or equal.
