The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for a Digital Interrogator (DI) for Shipboard use, associated data and logistical support. The DI is an AIMS MKXII Product Improvement Effort. It will be a functional replacement with full backward compatibility with all AN/UPX-25(V) Configurations and all AN/UPX-27 installations. There will be a Procurement Planning Conference 15 days after issuance of the solicitation. The Four-Step Source Selection Procedures will be utilized. Under Step 1 only the technical proposal will be required. The basic contract will include four (4) First Article Units. The first option year will include a quantity of up to 63 production units, the second and third will be for a quantity of up to 100 production units.
