The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) requires a new Hi-Vac (Pulse-Type) autoclave wtih double door and cross-contamination seal that will be used to treat regulated medical waste. This equipment is to be furnished FOB destination and installed at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) in Plum Island, NY. The PIADC is a quarantine research facility located on Plum Island (1-1/2 miles off the northeast tip of Long Island). Further information and the specifications are contained in Solicitation No. 35-3615-97 which will be issued on or about August 15, 1997.
