Schlicher (210)-671-1764 Fax # (210)-671-5064 E-MAIL: ERROR --, schlicha@lakgate1.af.mil. 1.The minimum salient characteristics for the Ophthalmology Digital Imaging Systems are as follows: a.The system must be furnished with a 1 gigabyte (GB) Jaz Drive Archiving Systems. This system shall provide lossless image compression for archiving and tele-imaging which can be accomplished during a session or as needed.b. The systems must include a minimum 133 MHz Pentium computer, with a minimum of 32 MB RAM, 2.1 GB hard drive, 1.44 MB (3.5") Floppy Drive, two 20 inch high resolution color image monitors with 1280 x 1024 Digital Frame Grabber and image display board (allowing exquisite resolution and digital imagery processing required for precise diagnosis), and UPS battery back-up system.c. The system must provide for a minimum of file conversion formats including: TIP, JPEG, PCX, BMP d. The system must allow for a minimum of one frame per second image capture capability direct to the computer hard drive.e. The system must be furnished with automatic pre- and post-treatment overlay software thus giving immediate assessment of the accuracy or eye laser treatment.f. The system must have True WINDOWS Application with full functionality capable of the following: 1) Review an angiogram while capturing another.2) Continue system use while printing in the background.3) Interface with existing networks.4) Tile multiple procedures.5) Multiple software drivers for printers and slide generation devices. 6) Ability to exchange data with existing other WINDOWS programs.g. The system must be provided with the following: 1) Network Ready Ethernet Card.2) Definable Macros.3) 33.6 modem.4) Ability to upgrade to high capacity storage devices for instant access to images.5) Ability to upgrade to 640 resolutions color imaging.6) Kodak 1.4 MegaPlus digital CCD Camera and Control Unit.7) CCD Chip resolution 1340 x 1037 pixels for high resolution image capture.8) Eyepiece viewing with automatic ICG exciter filter insertion.9) Full field of view when interface to fundus camera (50 degree, 35 degree, and 20 degree), performs to specification of fundus camera.10) Optical interface for Topcon TRC-50X fundus camera to allow digital fluorecein angiography on a single camera.11) Tektronix Phaser 450 color digital printer.
