Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment intends to procure, using other than full and open competition pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), six (6) DISCOURSE ELECTRONIC CLASSROOM systems, inclusive of: teacher server software license, student terminal software license, multiplexor card, controller unit, dual channel VGA, 4-port concentrator, studycom cabling, studycom LP-4, studycom LP-5, infrared transceiver, student infrared transmitter, discourse storage cart and installation for Fort Benning Schools, Georgia. Discourse Technologies, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI is the only contractor able to provide real-time, full-text student response with simultaneous teacher monitoring, evaluation and feedback. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to supply the required supplies as well as financial and technical information which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received withinfifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, a request for quotation will be issued to Discourse Technologies, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI. Note, no contract award will be made on the basis of information received to this notice. Further, the Navy will not pay for any information provided.
