J -- DOCKSIDE REPAIRS OF THE CGC MADRONA (WLB-302) SOL DTCG80-97-B-3FA902 DUE 091097 POC Contact Mr. Louis Romano, Contract Specialist (757) 628-4651 Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform Dockside repairs including, but not limited to the following Minimum items: 1) Renew Rub Railing, 2) Clean Gallery Gaylord Hood,Scullery and Laundry Ventilation Systems, 3) Renew Hot Water Heater, 4) Inspect, Overhaul and Test Weight Handling Equipment. 5) Renew Turtle Back Hydraulic Piping, 6) Replace Cleats with New Double Bitts. 7) Overhaul and Weight Test Shipboard Davit Crane, 8) Install Additional Liferafts, 9) Overhaul and Test Dual Point Boat Davit, 10) Renew Marinite Panels. 11)Preserve Buoy Deck, 12) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel Tanks, 13) Provide Temporary Messing, 14) Provide Temporary Berthing, 15) Provide Temporary Logistics. Indefinite Items Include, but are not limited to the following: 1) Relocate Pad Eyes, 2) Additional Temporary Logistics. Vessel's homeport is Charleston, SC. Vessel length is 180' overall. Vessel availability schedule will be 14 October 1997, for 28 days. The place of performance for this vessel will be at its homepier in Charleston, SC. There will be a non-refundable charge required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard in the amount of $100.00 for requested U.S. Coast Guard specification reference drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 12 August 1997. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.
