Phuong, Purchasing Agent, (301) 496-6127 It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine to procure assistance to close serial bibliographic records in NLM's online Technical Services Systems (TESS) that are open when the Master Serials System (MSS) record is closed. The project entails searching, verifying, and modifying data elated to publication status and dates of publication and/or volume designation or 15,000-27,150 open serial bibliographic records in the TESS system to close he serial titles by incorporating the data in the corresponding closed Master Serial System (MSS) record. The period of performance for this purchase order is anticipated to be a base period of seven (7) months with an option to extend the term for one (1) successive three (3) month period. Release of the Request for Quotations will be approximately fifteen (15) days from publication date of this synopsis.
