The project consists of the reconstruction of 11.5 kilometers of roadway in the park, and repairs to eight erosion sites, including grading, drainage improvements, aggregate base and hot asphalt concrete pavement placement, curb installation, and other work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Embankment construction, 29,065 m3; Hot asphalt concrete pavement, 15,950 metric tons; 300 mm pipe culvert, 2,990 m; Portland cement concrete curb, 450 mm depth, 12,370 m.
