The project consists of the construction of 1.7 kilometers of Cynthia Road; the Cynthia Road Bridge over the Natchez Trace Parkway; Cemetery Spur Road; and 1.6 kilometers of ramps for the Route 49 interchange. The project work includes grading, drainage improvements, aggregate base and hot asphalt concrete pavement placement, construction of one structure, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Embankment Construction: 29,700 m3; Aggregate Base, Grading MSHD, Class 5, Group C: 31,350 m2; Hot Asphalt Concrete Pavement: 3,370 t; Precast prestressed concrete piles: 1,300 m; Structural Concrete: 1,100 m3; Reinforcing steel: 130,000 kg.
