rhowe.@bsda.org. The St. Louis Bi-State Development Agency is
soliciting bids for construction of two (2) permanent operator
restrooms at the existing MetroLink Stations: University of
Missouri-South (UMSL-South) and St. Charles Rock Road. The work consist
of but limited to the construction of a new 10 x 14 ft., two room,
cement masonry unit (CMU) restroom facility at these locations,
complete with the necessary sanitary, water supply, and electrical
power connections. Water supply and electrical power already exist at
both of the locations. Sanitary connections will be off-site, and will
require connection runs of up to 1700 ft., with grinder pumps and
forced main pipes required at both locations. In accordance with
specifications outlined in ML-97-SB-2290. Copies of the specifications
may be obtained at the office of the Agency MetroLink Contracts &

until Thursday, August 14, 1997, in the MetroLink Contracts &
Procurement of the Bi-State Development Agency, Second Floor, 707 North
First Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63102 until, 2:00 p.m. St. Louis
time. The Agency reserves the right to accept any bid or any part or
parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. Acceptance of any bid is
subject to concurrence by the United States Department of
Transportation. Any contract resulting from bids are subject to
financial assistance between the Agency and the United States
Department of Transportation. The Agency is committed to maximizing
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) participation. In connection
with the performance of this contract, a 20% percent DBE goal has been
established. All bidders are strongly encouraged to afford these firms
the maximum opportunity to participate as partners. All DBE firms are
