Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR ASBESTOS AND LEAD ABATEMENT FOR POSTAL FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF MONTANA SOL 072976-97-A-0202 DUE 082697 POC Barbara Dellinger, 303/220-6506, USPS Contract Specialist. Indefinite quantity construction contract for asbestos and lead abatement services at USPS facilities in the State of Montana. Term of the contract will be for two years. Initial contract value of the contract will be $250,000.00, and the Postal Service reserves the option to increase the potential value of the contract in increments of $250,000.00. Additional consent of surety will be required for each incremental increase. Offerors will be required to submit a mutiplier that will apply equally to all unit line items. Work may be performed in any USPS owned or leased facility in the State of Montana. Award will be made to responsible offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Postal Service. Factors to be considered in the evaluation of offers for award are: abatement experience, resources, references, current and projected workload and the ability to mobilize within the State of Montana. Solicitation packages will be available on or about July 24, 1997. Since this a request for proposals, offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any one offer, or relative standing of the offeror will not be disclosed to anyone until after award of a contract is made and the request is submitted in writing.
