Blackledge, Contract Specialist Presolicitation Notice-Provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment for the removal and replacement of 21 existing post indicator valves (PIV), 14 fire hydrants and 14 fire hydrant service valves for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA. Requirements include all necessary field survey, excavation, removal and installation of new equipment. Provide schedule to minimize downtime of system and complete one work area at a time prior to the initiation of work in another work area. Work may involve weekends and/or evening shift work. Provide all necessary shoring, trench boxes and/or OSHA approved safety measures to ensure safety of workmen. The estimated cost range of this requirement is between $250,000 to $500,000.
