D -- SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT FOR WEIGH STATIONS WITH ELECTRONIC SCREENING SOL I75RFQ POC Carla Crossfield (606) 257-6417 The University of Kentucky is preparing to contract with a software developer to develop, test, implement, and support a software package for personal computers in weigh stations. This software will provide database management, communications, and user interface functions for weigh stations with commercial vehicle electronic systems. Functional requirements for the software have been drafted and will be available for public review and comment on or about July 25, 1997. A request for qualifications (RFQ) is being prepared and will be available for distribution on or about July 31. Responses to the RFQ will be due approximately 30 days after release of the RFQ.
