dipasqua@philly.nosc.mil. This is a SOURCE SEEKING SYNOPSIS for
technical support of Imagery, UNIX, and Database Managements Systems
and Training. This synopsis is being issued in an attempt to develop a
full and open competitive environment for the acquisition of the
technical support services detailed herein. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST
FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL PROCUREMENT AND THEREFORE THERE IS
NO SOLICITATION. The sources sought/market survey is published in
order that potential sources may learn of future technical support
requirements and in order that the Government can better plan its
procurement requirements. The Naval Command, Control, and Ocean
Surveillance Center, RDT&E Division Detachment, Philadelphia (NRAD
Phila.) is seeking sources that can provide technical support regarding
the use of (5D), CSE-SS, "C", INDEX or IESS. It is considered that
having Image Product Archive/Image Product Library(IPA/IPL) or Imaging
Process experience, as well as prior military experience, would be
beneficial. NRAD, PHILA is also seeking sources that can provide UNIX
and SYBASE training to DOD and non-DOD personnel. Types of experience
that would be beneficial include: Operating System Installation and
Troubleshooting, System Backups, System Recovery Procedures, System
Diagnostics, Database Loading, Data Structures, Command Files, UNIX
Product Directories, Security Management, User Account Management, and
File Maintenance. Responses should be submitted in writing, within 20
days of the publication of this synopsis, to Peter S. Dipasquale at

should cite the date/issue of the CBD synopsis to which you are
replying. Respondents are requested to address the specific technical
capabilities they can provide. The Government will not pay for any cost
incurred or any information received in response to this synopsis.
