P -- SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SOL RFP 114-0005-8 DUE 090997 POC Amy Karam, Regional Contract Specialist, (717) 547-1641, extension 546 The Federal Correctional Institution Loretto, located in Loretto, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for solid waste disposal services for a base period of October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998 and four (4) one (1) year option periods. The contractor would be required to pick-up, dispose of contents and return five (5) thirty cubic yard, institution owned, trash compactors in accordance with all Environmental Protection Agency, state and local regulations. The contractor would be responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses and disposal fees related to the solid waste disposal. Each compactor should be cleaned and sanitized prior to its return to the institution. This requirement has been set aside for small businesses.
