Q -- PSYCHIATRIST SOL 124-0037 DUE 082797 POC Ronn Lindert, Contracting Officer, 608-584-6119 The Federal Correctional Institution, Oxford, WI is soliciting to establish a contract with a Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric care, treatment, and evaluation of the mental health needs and psychiatric disorders of the inmates incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp located in Oxford, Wisconsin. The contractor will provide written and/or dictated reports for all patients referred for psychiatric evaluation to the Clinical Director, including recommendations for further diagnostic testing and/or diagnostic treatment. Services to be provided in two hour sessions, eight sessions per month for an estimated 96 sessions for the contract period of October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998. The offeror must have completed residency in psychiatry and must possess licensing for the practice of medicine in the State of Wisconsin to be considered for award. Offerors must have verification of credentials and proof of liability insurance issued by a responsible carrier in order to be eligible for award. There will be a pre-bid conference/site visit at the Federal Correctional Institution on August 6, 1997. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded on or about September 3, 1997 to the lowest qualified bidder. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business.
