The solicitation packages will be available on July 25, 1997 with an anticipated bid opening on or about August 28, 1997. The successful bidder will be responsible for radiology interpretations in a professional nature, as being provided in the method as considered normal in the local community. They will provide the institution with radiology interpretations of all x-ray films taken on inmate patients. They will perform specialized tests, perform all fluoroscopy examinations as scheduled, giving written reports on interpretations. The successful contractor must be Board certified and licensed to practice Radiology. The resulting contract will be a one year contract, starting Date of Award through September 30, 1998. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to pass a background investigation. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
