This class is an introduction to the Federal procurement process and its regulations. The focus is on businesses that are developing a marketing program that targets the Federal government as a prospective buyer. Acquisition Reform Act: Past, Present & Future Wednesday July 30, 1997 This is an awareness seminar that will discuss the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (FASA). Topics of discussion will include: FASA changes and new procedures, an overview of certain titles, Simplified Acquisition Threshold, small business and socioeconomic laws, commercial items, and FACNET. The seminar will be presented by James Harper from Business Management Research Associates, Inc. of Fairfax, Virginia.
