The preferred location of the warehouse is one that is located on the Peninsula and is within 25 miles from the Information Service Center, 2700 Campus Drive, San Mateo, CA. The warehouse will be used to store bulky supplies, miscellanous new and used equipment, furniture, and records. Warehousing services include receiving, unloading, storing, inventorying, disposal and/or destruction actions, and preparation of shipment and loading of postal items. The contractor will not be responsible for transportation for shipping. The Postal Service will guarantee to purchase 4,000 square feet of space per month. The base period of the contract will be two years with five options; four options for two years each and one option for 120 days.
