The military family housing areas requires curb side pickup service (to include pickup of recyclable materials) for approximately 2000 units. Composting requires the grinding and transporting of compost materials from Keesler AFB to the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport, MS(approximately 10 miles from Keesler). Period of performance is 1 Nov 97 through 30 Sep 98, together with options to extend for a total of 53 months. This solicitation is unrestricted. Tenative issue date of solicitation is 25 Aug 97.
