The Federal Bureau of Prisons is requesting non-personal services for a Leisure Library Services. The solicitation packages will be available on July 25, 1997 with an anticipated bid opening on or about August 28, 1997. The successful bidder will be responsible for re-organizing and maintaining a comprehensive Leisure Library. The incumbent must have an extensive knowledge of outreach resources and services, specialized library materials, circulation systems, and cataloging systems. The incumbent will also work with instructors on materials appropriate for class usage. Will also be responsible for operating the enter library loan system within the institution. Keeping record and inventory of magazines and newspapers, reference materials and leisure reading books. The resulting contract will be a one year contract, starting Date of Award through September 30, 1998. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to pass a background investigation.
