Work will include drywall construction; resilient flooring; ceramic tile floors and walls; doors and hardware; acoustic tile and gypsum ceilings; painting, lockers and other built-in furnishings; plumbing bathroom fixtures; trim and accessories; mechanical, HVAC, lighting, electrical work and certain other items. Competition date -- 180 days from notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost -- between $250,000 and $500,000. A non-mandatory site visit has been scheduled for Aug 26, 1997 @ 3:00 p.m. All requests for solicitation must be in writing and include a non-refundable check or money order in the amount of $25.00 made out to "Dept. of Veteran Affairs".
