Project is located within the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area. All work shall be accomplished without the use of motorized equipment. Work includes: clearing & grubbing, excavation, construction of drainage structures (culverts, fords and waterbars), retaining walls, turnpikes and placement of native borrow surfacing. Blasting may be required. Estimated time for construction is 510 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 15, 1997. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 6, 1997.
