The project involves the construction of new water demineralizer facility consisting of packaged demineralizers, pumps, tanks, air compressor, piping, concrete shed, and electrical work. The project includes the removal, cleaning, and relocation of the following: an existing 10,000 gallon, horizontal, aboveground, steel demineralized water tank, an existing 4,000 gallon, vertical aboveground, fiberglass, neutralization tank, and existing fiberglass, inground, wastewater sump. The new demineralized water system consists of duplex packaged 2-bed demineralizer, packaged mixed-bed demineralizer, acid neutralizing system, air compressor, the relocated 10,000 gallon demineralized water tank, the relocated 4,000 gallon neutralization tank, the relocated inground wastewater sump, and drain, waste, water and air piping. The project includes the construction of a concrete shed, a bermed, concrete, open storage pad and electrical and other related work. The location of work is at Victor Wharf and Alpha Wharf, U.S. Naval Activities, Guam, M.I. The performance period is 205 calendar days from the date of award. The estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A limited number of plans and specification will be available on or about 06 August 1997 at no charge and issued on a first come and first serve basis. Only one set per company.
