Maggard, Contracting Officer, (803) 566-5155 ext 240. Dollar magnitude for Repair Clinic Emergency Generator, Bldg 364 is Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The work to be performed on this contract requires the replacement of an existing emergency generator and to modify facility interior electrical system so that additional electrical circuits can be energized by the new generator. The work includes but is not limited to demolishing an existing 45 KW diesel engine generator and automatic transfer switch. Provide and install a new 225 KW prime power diesel engine generator set. Provide a new 400 Amp, 480 Volt Automatic Transfer Switch for emergency power service. Provide a new 1200 Amp, 480 Volt Maunual (Non-Automatic) Transfer Switch for normal service. Provide conduit and cable work inside the Dental Clinic (Bldg 364) to distribute emergency power to specific loads and provide a new screen wall for emergency generator located at Charleston AFB, SC. Performance Time is 180 days from the Notice to Proceed. All requests for the Invitation For Bids (IFB)shall be in writing and or fax at 803-566-2829. Telephone request will not be honored. Air Mobility Command (AMC) does not have sufficient authority to fund this project now, however, we expect to fund this project with FY97 funds.
