Project includes but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, materials tools, equipment, transportation, services and incidental items in accordance with the drawings and specification. Project involves repairing all the cracks on the exterior of the building walls, excavating under the perimeter of the buildings grade beams, regrading around perimeter of building, repairing existing storm sewer inlets, removing and replacing flexible and rigid pavements, installing new yard sprinkler system, asbestos and lead abatement, installing new flooring in lobby, and repairing building's concrete piers. Magnitude for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Projected performance period is 124 calendar days. The proposed contract being procured on an UNRESTRICTED basis. Project is subject to an evaluation preference for Small Disadvantaged Businesses in accordance with current FAR requirements. Interested concerns should as early as possible but not later than 15 days after this notice, indicate interest by responding to the contracting office listed above. A 20% Bid Bond will be required. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from successful bidder. All responses to this synopsis and all questions must be in writing. Telephonic and faxed requests will not be honored. Plans and Specifications will be available for a non-refundable cost of $25.00 on a first come basis. Payment must in the form of Cashier's check, Money Order, Certified check or Company check only. Solicitation will be issued early August 1997, with bid opening approximately 30 days later. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) code is 1522 and the small business size standard is no more than $17 million in average annual revenue over the last 3 years..
