This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, travel and services necessary for the demolition of Buildings 1108 and 1717 and asbestos removal at Hanscom AFB, MA. Asbestos will be removed and properly disposed from roofs, window glazing, ceiling, and tower cab walls. Work includes but is not limited to the following: removal and proper disposal of asphalt area and all asbestos containing materials, electrical work, removal and disposal of 12' x 16' concrete transformer pad, removal of bollards, and installation of compacted base course. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The period of performance will be 42 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Tentative date for issuing RFQ is 15 August l997. A site visit will be announced in the RFQ package.
