This procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The System consists of ten(10)each, Kodak Model HSV-500C3, ten(10) each, 5-meter camera to VCR interface cable, ten(10)each, VCR Processor Unit, ten(10)each, NAC HM Zoom Lens, ten(10)each, Camera Carrying Case, ten(10)each, Operation Control Unit, ten(10)each, AC Adapter, ten(10)each, Video Interface Cable, ten(10)each Mating Connector, ten(10)each, Operations Manual with Case, one(1)each, 50-Meter cable for between camera and VCR, seven(7)each, NAC Custom Booster Box, and six(6)each IRIG-B Time Converter. This procurement is for a Brand Name or Equal Item and all proposal submissions shall provide Descriptive Literature of the offered products for evaluation purposes. Failure to provide the requested literature shall be grounds for rejection of the proposal. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about July 28, 1997 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about August 15, 1997. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
