Hawkins, Chief, Procurement Section, (301)435-0366 The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), intends to o purchase one (1) High Speed Digital Camera, Model No. SMD-MAC-1 or equal manufactured by Silicon Mountain Design, Inc., with the following specifications: 512 X 512 resolution, 36 um X36 um pixel size, minimum of 10 bits resolution, the frame acquisition rate must be at least 1000 frames per second and must also be programmable to acquire at 500, 250, 125, and 60 frames per second, the fill factor >80% at 1000 frames per second, the int egration time is 10 u seconds, on camera storage must be at least 1024, the camera should fit (C-mount) to a Zeiss Axiovert 100 inverted microscope, the camera dimensions should be 6.5" X 4.25" X 13" (WxHxL); one (1) SMD-NRE Microlens array (lenslet), the camera pixels should be fitted to this microlens array; one (1) SMD-PS-MACH power supply; one (1) SMD-CA-RS232 remote control cable; one (1) SMD-IMAP-SYS camera control software; two (2) ITI-IC-PCI-4.0-W95-KIT frame grabber cards with on-board memory; two (2) ITI-AMDIG-16D-HS Digital Acquisition Modules; two (2) ITI-ACBL-SMD-MACH-12 Digital data cables for frame grabber cards; one (1) ATL-QCMP, PC host computer, with the following specifications: 200 MHz Pentium processor or better, 64 MB RAM with the option to be upgrade it to 256 RAM, 4 PCI slots, 4 ISA slots, 2 IDE controllers each capable of controlling 2 hard drives, one (1) two gigabyte hard disk, 4 MB Vram Diamond Stealth 64, one 17" or bigger high resolution monitor, Windows 95 operating system and s ystem installation service.
