U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, anticipates soliciting under the authority of FAR 6-302-1; a sole source requirement to support Engineering Data Management Directorate (EDMD) in migrating its Engineering Data Management Systems Computed Aided Requirement Systems (CARS) Tracker System to be compatible with common World Wide Web browsers, such as Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer. The CARS shall run in a Sun Cluster Environment hosting the Hypertext Transport Protocol Daemon (HTTPD) server. EDMD is responsible for the respositories housing the Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for the major weapons systems, both hardware and software. This will be a firm fixed price contract.
