The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, National Marine Fisheries Service, Highland New Jersey has a requirement to sort, identify and enumerate benthic macro fauna from Young-modified Van Veen grab samples that will be collected from the Navesink-Sandy Hook Bay New Jersey estuarine system. There will be 140 to 180 samples. All samples will be processed with a quality control testing of 10% of all samples. Monthly reports will be required. The period of performance is September 1, 1997 to February 28, 1998. Copies of Request for Quotation (RFQ) 97-2601 will be available on or about August 11, 1997. Quotes will be due on or about August 25, 1997. Copies of the RFQ will be provided only in response to written or faxed requests or e-mails received directly from the requestor.
