The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the arrival of #150 males and #200 females into the Job Corps program. The contractor will also be responsible for placement of all youth returning to Virgin Island (approximately 210) into employment, school or the Armed Forces. Request for proposals to provide the above services will be available approimately July 29, 1997, for issue in response to written request. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period March 1, 1998 through February 28, 1999, plus 4 governmental unilateral renewal options of one year. A pre-proposal conference will be held on August 22, 1997, 9:00 AM at the regional office located at 201 Varick Street, room 897, New York, New York 10014-4811.
