Kaler, 317/267-8708 Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, supplies, equipment, and supervision to perform the work required by Project No. 583-303, Relocate Cardiology located at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN, in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Contractor will construct a new cardiac catheterization laboratory addition with support space on the sixth floor of an existing five story building and includes the relocation of two cardiac cath labs to the newly constructed area. This single story upper floor addition includes approximately 11,680 GSF and will tie into existing 6th floor occupied critical care space. Work includes, but is not limited to, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical. SIC Code 1542 applies. The cost range is estimated at $2,000,000 -- $5,000,000. Completion time is 425 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Bid documents will be available O/A 8/11/97. A non-refundable fee of $60.00 in the form of a money order, cashiers or certified check is required for each bid package set requested. Checks will be made payable to VA Medical Center and shall list the solicitation number. A maximum of two sets will be issued to firms intending to bid as prime contractors and one set to firms bidding as subcontractors. Award is subject to availability of funds.
