The proposed contract is for project MDY 96-0217, Repair Fire Alarm Various Buildings at Moody AFB, GA, which consists of but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, supervision, etc., to replace existing fire alarm system with new addressable fire alarm system that is 100% compatible with existing base addressable fire alarm computer console. This is a sole source requirement for the Notifier Addressable Fire Alarm System. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with specifications and drawings. This solicitation will be issued on Disk, via Internet Http://www.moody.af.mil/lg/cons/business.html), or from one of several Plan House listed on the Bidders Mailing List. The solicitation and specifications will be in a Microsoft format. The plans will be in an Audo Cad format. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or Bidders Mailing List will be issued from this office. Contractors interested in receiving the solicitation must fax their request to 912-257-1499. Include your company name, Point of Contact, address, phone number, fax number, size standard, and preference of disk, Internet, or Plan House. Any amendments will be faxed or mailed on a disk to all contractors on the Bidders Mailing List. For contractors accessing the solicitation through the Internet, amendments will be posted on the effected solicitation page. For Contractors accessing the solicitation over the Internet, it is their responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any amendments that are issued. This will be a firmed-fixed price contract with performance time of 180 calendar days.
