quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format
in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request
for quotation. The request for quotation incorporates provision and
clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. This is
an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid
or quotation. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 63 and the
Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. ITEM 0001 -- Invisible
Light Source Strips 5 foot (Invisible Light Source converts infra-red
linear floodlighting suitable for outdoor and indoor use and produces
intense illumination in the near infrared spectrum (880mm) which can be
viewed by CCTV cameras and night vision devices. Utilizing the latest
solid state infra-red devices packaged in high impact super PVC,
Invisible Light Source operates from 12Vdc. Wide angle solid state
emitters are secured and sealed in position and can be shrouded to
prevent direct viewing by CCTV camera. It is currently manufactured in
lengths of 2.5 and 5 feet but can be constructed to suit any
requirement. The modular design enables Invisible Light Source sections
to be ~interconnected to provide a system of any particular length,
60/each required, ITEM 0002 -- Cables and Connectors to Install
invisible Light Source Strips and ITEM 0003 -- Labor to install
Invisible Light Source Strips at the Naval Special Warfare Development
Group, Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2299. Required Delivery is 30 DAYS
ARO. Closing Date of synopsis/solicitation is 97 Aug 04, 1997, 4:30
