The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS), Cotton Division (CD)intends to acquire up to 50 high volume instrumentation (HVI) systems for the measurement of the physical properties of cotton fibers from Zellweger Uster, Knoxville, Tennessee. A firm, fixed-price contract is anticipated. Delivery shall be 180 calendar days from the effective date of the contract, f.o.b. destination. Delivery locations are throughout the U.S. Cotton Belt. The solicitation will be released on or about August 5, 1997.
