Gardner, Constract Specialist, 805-989-4309, Fax: 805-989-4303 Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC) utilizes the Prolog Corp. node and Bus Box Computers for the baseband Multiplexer, Demultiplexer, Baseband Distribution Unit, development Telemetry Simulator, and for the GFO Doppler collection controller and Data Archiving /distributing units. Standardization between/among these several systems for spare parts and upgrades. All software/firmware was developed for the Prolog and main bus structure is unique to this vendor. These items have been programmed with the NAVSOC standard protocols that allow communi- cations between the Porlog units and the Integrated Satellite Control System (ISCS) computer network. NAVSOC is seeking source compatibility or vendor to build the boards for these chassis, for custom design and fabrication. Compatibility is critical for the Doppler Data Collection to be reliable and have reliable orbital determination.These software protocols require unique software as does the applications and control software that has been written for the Prolog units.
