70 -- SOFTWARE PURCHASE AND MAINTENANCE SOL DCA20097Q0107 DUE 081597 POC Art Kruse 618-256-9735 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Computer Corporation of America, 500 Old Connecticut Path, Framingham, MA 01701-9378, for the acquisition of software and related maintenance for the following proprietary products: Model 204 Multi-Processing Group 40 Software. This software will be delivered to the DMC in Huntsville, AL. Period of performance for the maintenance is 1 year from date of contract award. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 15 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9414 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
