Sutherlin, Contracting Officer, (910)432-2146 This contract action is for annual maintenance of Tivoli computer system for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Maintenance for Management Database Annual Maintenance (Part No: MDB-MNT, 2200 each); Tivoli Management Framework (Part No: TMF-MNT, 25 ea); Tivoli/Admin (Part No: TA-MNT, 25 ea); Tivoli/Sentry (Part No: TS-MNT, 25 ea); Tivoli/AEF (Part No: AEF-MNT, 1 ea); Tivoli for Remedy/AR System (Part No: PRE, 1 ea). This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order to Tivoli Systems, Austin, Texas 78759 for the maintenance on the items cited above. Offerors who can furnish the required maintenance for the first time for the period 1 October 1997 through 30 September 1998, may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, etc. to include price (FOB Destination). All responses must be received within 15 calendar days of the date of this CBD notice. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests for a solicitation will be considered nonresponsive. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed with resulting award under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
