DHHS/Program Support Center, Division of Acquisition Management, ADP Acquisitions Branch has a requirement for Claritas Data Services 1996 Proprietary Estimates for all Census Tracts, Counties, and Minor Civil Divisions in the US. The data includes the following: 1) 1996 Civilian non-institutionalized population; 2) 1990, 1996, 2001 Race Cohorts w/ Hispanic included; 3) Claritas Basic Trendline file including Age M/F 0-1. Also requested is Claritas Custom 1996 Estimates for all Census Tracts, Counties and Minor Civil Divisions in the US. Custom estimates include the following: 1) 1996 number and percent of persons with incomes below poverty level and 1996 number and percent of persons with incomes below 200 percent of the poverty level; 2) 1996 number and percent of persons living in linguistically isolated households (no one over 14 years of age speaks English very well). The data is for a 25 user license. The data is to be provided in EPCDIC format on IBM Standard Tape and MapInfo format on CD. The Government intends to negotiate an award on a sole source basis utilizing simplified acquisition procedures with Claritas Data Services, 53 Brown Road, Ithica, New York 14850. Firms having the ability to provide this data must submit written notification that demonstrates their ability to satisfy the requirement. Firms shall include names and telephone numbers of two contact points from organizations (Government or commercial) to which the firm is providing data and provide technical and pricing information, citing a GSA Schedule if applicable, to the attention of Marc L. Long, referencing 97H049549. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days from the date this synopses is published, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the acquisition to Claritas Data Services.
