The Program Support Center (PSC), Personal Property Facility (PPF) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Macro International, Inc., 11785 Beltsville Dirve, Calverton, MD 20705 to obtain technical support for their Warehouse Information Management System (WIMS) and Property Management Information System (PMIS). WIMS was developed by Macro International, Inc. for the PPF and is inclusive of modules for location design, receiving, putaways, order entry, picking, lot processing, location inquiry, item inquiry, and reporting. PMIS is a legacy system utilized within DHHS. An indenfinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract is anticipated for a one-year period. Fixed price task orders will be issued as requirements are definitized. Tasks may include modification of existing user security, creating an archive or history file database for stored items, expansion of the reporting capabilities, determining the feasibility of merging the PMIS with WIMS, upgrading the present modules, and maintenance.
