Lincoln National Forest, plans to award a contract for a Cultural
Resources Survey. This contract is composed of two parts. The first is
an archaeological survey of approximately 1920 acres. The second part
involves archaeological excavations at four archaeological sites. Two
separate reports will be written. The intent of the proposed contract
is to complete an intensive cultural resources survey of the
Sacramento Mountains in the Sacramento Ranger District, Lincoln
National Forest. This work is part of a sample survey of a 17,193 acre
watershed study area for the Forest. This work is being performed
under Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act as
amended. All work shall comply with the Forest Service Region Three
Survey Standards Handbook. This contract will be a firm fixed price
type procurement. Period of Performance will be 180 days. The Standard
Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 8733. All responsible small
business sources submitting a bid, shall be considered by the Forest
