This project involves the complete renovation, to include upgrades and repairs, for the conversion of the Commissary Cold Storage building P-243 at Fort Monroe, VA, into a Cadet Command Administration and Training Facility. Work includes demolition, salvage of identified items and materials (removal of resulting rubbish and debris), excavation (filling and backfilling), trenching and backfilling of utility systems, and disposal. In accordance with occupational safety and health, the work shall be performed in accordance with EM 385-1-1, Section 23, Demolition, and other applicable sections. In the interest of conservation, salvage shall be performed to max extent possible. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
