Project involves: providing and installing variable air volume (VAV) boxes and variable frequency drives with associated equipment and controls in order to convert the existing multi-zone air handling systems to VAV systems. Work includes removal of Asbestos containing materials; present in the duct vibration isolation joints of the equipment in Sioux City. Any contractor or subcontractor performing asbestos or other hazardous material work shall satisfy special responsibility and shall provide bodily injuryliability insurance coverage written on the comprehensive form of policy of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with hazardous materials involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risks.
